FYI, the Electronic Theater accepts only a tiny fraction of their material from non-workstation-based work. For example, in last year's show, the only microcomputer work was a Macromind Director-created 2D animation piece about the inability to cage the human spirit. (I think it was called "Shadow Play", and it was one of my favorite pieces in the show.) Typically, the ET is used to showcase the latest technological advancements in the business, and there's quite a bit of workstation snobbery in their acceptance process. Note that the ET rejects are generally even more interesting than the ET, and those are shown in the Video Review rooms during Siggraph. It's always extremely valuable to sit through a few hours of that stuff. – G
