Tax Cut Madness
EPE> Surely you jest. How can anyone believe Uncle George when he said No
new Taxes?
I believed him. He said it long and loud and often. I believed him.
EPE> I do not consider myself more intelligent than anyone else, but there
was so much about Uncle George that was unbelievable:
EPE> 1. Willie Norton ? or whatever. Tell me that Uncle Ron didn't have
anything in his closet. He was the one that let everyone out of the Mental
institutions.
He didn't let first-degree murderers with life sentences out on week-end
furloughs, sport.
EPE> 3. Just a truth of politics. Whenever a politician says something
absolutely, you can bet you last dollar that if elected, he (or she) will
do the complete opposite.
That wasn't true of Ronald Reagan, or Harry Truman.

Did I say the "last two generations?" If so, I shouldn't have said that.
I should have said the "last generation."
