Hi Scaat, <<I wish that someone would just take this and start it and end all of this endless discussion.>> You aren't alone. Unfortunately, there's still nowhere to UL meshes, so there's little left to do but endlessly discuss what people write in messages here. Meshes can and should still be built while we wait and discuss. Build now, optimize later. <<Sure, I hate the restrictions of these inane Zones, but someone must have liked them or they wouldn't have voted for them.>> Now that's a curious statement. I hate all the restrictions, too, and I voted against zones in the survey, but more people wanted them than not. I don't know how the survey would turn out today with all the new interested parties voting. I'd be curious to see how many of those who voted on the first survey are still waiting quietly in the shadows for the project to take shape. I'm also curious to know how much the charter will change when all these new and old pilgrims exercise their rights to vote. If you really hate the restrictions, recommend that they be removed from the charter. You've got my full support. I'll vote with you for a zone-free city. <<If you would just go ahead with the city according to the charter then anyone and everyone can submit whatever they want and leave it to the citizens to reject it.>> I think everybody is chompin' at the bit to proceed with the project, but we still don't have an UL area. There's no charter yet either. What will be contained in the charter is still being debated. It still has to be ratified after all the changes are decided upon, so now is the time, your opportunity, to say what kind of city you want to help build. The clerks and scribes say they're listening and taking notes, and there's still plenty of time to voice your concerns. Waiting and watching …B.
