Pixel 3D Opinions?

Hmm, there's at least three questions and four answers in that one… Yes, Pixel does NOT convert hierarchies of objects. Yes, Imagine does support hierarchies in its format. No, LightWave objects do NOT support hierarchies in objects, although their "scene" files can contain hierarchies of particular objects stored on disk in a certain spot. (I really wish they'd improve that…) Yes, InterChange translates hierarchies when both input and output formats support them, too. No, Pixel does not support hierarchies at all. So, when you convert Imagine to LightWave, we merge the entire hierarchy into a single LightWave object. That's better than just converting the topmost layer of the Imagine object, which is what Pixel does. Also, we translate the entire named texture and all the surface attributes, while Pixel only moves the RGB color of the faces. You see this going from hierarchical CAD-3D 2.0 objects to Imagine, don't you? We do convert the hierarchy as separate parts.
