re: An Amiga portable In theory, it already exists… sort of. After seeing what ICD has done in the way of their 'prima' product, I got to thinking. What if someone redesigned the top half of the A500 case to accommodate an internal power supply and possibly a folding/popup LCD display?. Technically, it would be an external expansion device since any active componentry would still be outside of the 500's standard shielding (FCC approval needed of course), but it is doable. I figure such a repackaging could be done in a way that would only add about 2" to the A500's overall height, and maybe 3-5 pounds in weight..certainly within acceptable norms for a 'portable' class machine.
