#HELP!! 2.04&9600baud
HELP!!! Now that I got your attention, I need help with a problem.
I updated to 2.04, now I can not get my modem/computer to work at 2400+
baud. With 2.03 I was able to set my port at 38400 for CIS (using Whap),
the same for NCOMM for local BBSs. I let the modem set the connect rate
and had the port locked at 38400. Now if I go above 2400 I can normally
connect ok but after a bit I get a 'NO CARRIER' message. I have tried
9600, 19200, 38400, baud settings and setting the buffers from min to
maxium. Any ideas, fixs, comments, or HELP???
Oh, here is the system setup. A3000/25, 2megs chip, 4megs 32bit fast,
8megs 16bit fast (Supra card, this was added at the same time as the
upgrade but I do'nt think this is the problem), 50meg HD for SYS:, 211meg
HD for the rest, Incomm Turbo 96/V.32 modem.
The system worked fine before the upgrade, and works fine now at 2400 baud.
Other that this problem with the speed it works great now. When I get time
I was going to re=-intsall 2.03 and see if it corrects itself. But for now
does anyone have a Idea what is wrong.
