Hi, Joao– Welcome to the forum/section! This is an excellent way to handle the question of whether to standardize or stick to original data – if Lanny has both in separate fields, he can give us one database with, say, the standardized terms, and a supplementary file with just mineral names (or keys) and original info – the extra file is small and the user can easily set it aside if it is not wanted. –Doug
