Mark, ':T/filename' says write to 'filename' in the 'T' directory on the current disk. 'T:filename' says write to 'filename' in the currently assigned 'T' directory. If your 'T:' directory is assigned to ram: and your current directory is DH0: ':T/filename' is trying to write to 'DH0:T/filename'. This may not be what you want. Versia Hilliard
