AEHD High-density drive!
I called the tech support line of Applied Engineering in the hopes of
resolving the problem with their High-density drive and the new 2.04
ROMS. Here is what they said. Currently, their engineering dept. has
dropped ALL Amiga support. Only if enough users write to the
engineering dept. concerning the problem will there be any
possibility of them being put on the project! I am asking all owners
out there to please write them and request that they update their
driver. My letter is in the mail already. I have also requested that
if they don't intend to support us that their source code is useless
to them and to please release it to someone who would make good use
of it. Please write your letters! Realize that all future Amigas will
have 2.04 and this drive is real slick! What a shame if you users out
there let it fall by the wayside. Thank you.
