#clipboard and tool types
Hello all,
Using Arexx or Dos (I have OS version 2.05),is there a way for me to read
text/write text using the clipboard device ? I'd like to be able to read text
sent to clipboard by Right Amiga (C or X) or by 'send to clipboard' ? If so how
?
An explaination of what and where 'clipboard' is would also be helpful.
I know there is a clipboard directory in ram: and I have used this with graphic
brushes. I have a brush, which I use frequently, copied there by my
user-startup.Then using Brilliance, I can simple select the 'from clipboard'
when I need it.
One other question,can the 'tool types' from an icon be read from rexx/DOS ?
And yes,I know I really need to get a more extensive programming language,
maybe someday I will. 🙂 I do have AMOS,but something about it turns me off.
