Larry, Logitech mice: They are all known as LogiMouse. First they had the old 'wedge' mouse in a serial, then bus version. Same mouse, different interface, both 200 ppi resolution. I've had no problems with either. Then they introduced the 'hi-rez' mouse, bus version only, wedge case, stripes on top, 320 ppi. Great mouse. Wonderful if you have big hands. Next came the 'ergo' series by way of the Series 9 "melted-bar-of-soap" mouse. It was 320 ppi and I hated the shape. Good for small hands. Available in both serial, bus and PS/2 interfaces. Now we have "MouseMan" in serial, bus, PS/2 and wireless interfaces. 400 dpi, left and right hand vesions. Nice product. At the low end, they now have "Dexxa" (2 button MS clone) and "First Mouse" (3 button) as low cost, entry level products. The best would be a combination of the wedge case finger rests and pick-up ribs on the MouseMan bus mouse. But I can't get that…. yet…<g> The drivers are the same between serial and bus versions.
