I realize asking whether the Windows version of ACAD is intentionally
hobbled is like asking whether you've stopped beating your wife yet. Sorry
if the remark came off wrong.
I talked to another CAD developer who explained to me that, in fact,
Windows does limit large memory model programs. His solution was to allow
the program, once running, to open more than one drawing at a time. Could
this be done in AutoCAD?
