Agreed Michael! I also think filenotes are an execellent tool. I hope Khalid agrees! There is NO file requester out there that supports filenotes. I like how Analyze! supports em: It shows the filename, size and date *UNLESS* there is a filenote, then it shows the name and filenote. It would be a great asset for a few applications/orginizations of mine. ForExample: On all my downloaded stuff, I describe the file via the filenote. This works great for stuff I get from CI$ that have only 8 character filenames which leaves me to listarc them to remember what they really are without filenotes. I Use SID (dir util) to list directories showing only filenames and filenote. I use ListCom from the CLI to list just the file and comment on a single line. (C:LIST makes a hard-to-read listing 2 lines per entry when filenotes are involved.) ListCom v1.3x should be in the libs here somewhere. As I get better at C, I will probably improve ListCom. It will be *A LOT* smaller in a 2.0 only version. JohnB 76256,3436 – via Whap!
