#SoundBlaster CD drive
I recently got the Sound Blaster Pro card. In the back of the manual
there's a note that it can connect to a Matsushita CR-521 CD-ROM drive.
Now I see that there's a package out that bundles the SB Pro card, the
drive and a handful of CD titles.
Several questions:
1) Anyone know anything about the Matsushita drive? Access speed? Buffer?
Suitability for multimedia? General quality?
2) Anyone know whether other drives will work with the SB Pro? And if so,
which drives?
3) Anyone seen that Matsushita drive available by itself (not part of the
bundle with the card I already have)? If so, do you remember the price?
