I may have an opportunity to barter some animation services for a U-Matic
tape system (late-mid 80's vintage). A next-door company produces videos
and has recently moved to MII. They have a few 3/4" decks that they are
not using. Assuming good condition, how much would you say they'd be worth
in barter? Of what I understand regarding this format (which is not much),
this format is much supperior to Hi-8 and S-VHS, but falls short of MII and
Beta. Would you agree? Is the 3/4" format a "dead-end"?
We are a 3DS dealer and will be putting a system together a demo system
soon. Assuming a 3/4" deck, should I get an AT-Vista or is a
Targa+32 or +64 "just_as_good" for 3DS animations?
I've got a list of suggestions for 3DS …. interested in some E-Mail? <g>
