Cutting frames in VP
Bob:
This may be an over-simplified answer to your question, but that's what we
excel in! From your description, it seems that you have a single animation
that is 800 frames long. You want to delete frames 640 to 646, and have
the old 647 become the new 640. Right?
The cheating way is, of course, to go to the keyframer and just move or
slide the frames over. However, that seems too easy, and could have
problems with specific keys and timing of routines. So lets get slightly
more complicated…
Have the first line in video post the animation, but just render frames
0->639.
Then have the second line in VP the same thing, but slide the keys over 6
frames, and have the 'live' ones go from 647->800 OF YOUR ANIMATION, but
have them in location 640->794 OF THE KEYFRAMER. This should accomplish
what I think you want to do.
If not, get a little more detailed with your description, and I'll try
again.
