Jorge: When Commodore introduced the A3000T (tower) they also (sort of) introduced a high density floppy drive. It has shipped sporadicaly in new machines, but has not as yet been released as an accessory item. Rumors have had it available as a 'parts' piece from service centers. The drive should be available as an accessory when CBM gets the specs right on it (the early drives could only be configured as DF0:). Under AmigaDOS 3.0 & 2.1 (or with CrossDos from Consultron on lesser versions) you can read and write MSDOS 1.44 meg msdos disks… and with A-MAX 2.5x s/w and A-MAX from ReadySoft, you can read and write MAC high density floppies. I believe that the Amiga will format a high density floppy to 1.7 meg.
