PCMCIA is a standard; ram cards, at least, can be moved freely. Naturally, the filesystem you format the ram card with makes a difference, ie PCs use a MSDOS filesystem, while Amigas tend to use an AmigaDOS filesystem. Nothing stops something like CrossDOS from being taught how to talk to the ramcards, though, which would let you use MSDOS filesystem formatted cards on the Amiga. There was a certain amount of confusion about attribute memory of the PCMCIA cards in the early days of the format; that's the only thing that might cause you problems. The A600/A1200 works with the correct ones, and with most of the incorrect ones 🙂 andy
