I have a similar problem with a very few fonts. Namely Showboat and Logger, both caps only. Certain letters don't come out but are, as you say, shown as a box with the letter shown in a corner. Why this should be only certain chars I don't know but I doubt its chip memory as I have 2 chip and 4 fast in an A3000. Bloody annoying as I have a commission which requires me to use Logger. The other thing is that the problem is only when using Propage 3 but not Pagestream2.2. Logger is a Postscript Type 1 font and was made with Fontographer 3.2 and converts very well with Font Manager to CG format. Still don't know why it doesn't work though.
