Hello Aaron,
Thanks for your interest in the function-to-3d mesh program. I put
together a ZIP file (see msg 26117) and will upload it as soon as possible.
The program (I called it MATHDXF) solved my problem of generating 3d
surface plots that could look stunning. As an unexpected bonus, it gave me
a way to animate the surface to aid in visualization of how the function
changes with parameter changes. You should see the interest a little video
I made is generating around here.
To answer you question and clarify things: I work for a large
company under government contract. I wrote this program to solve a problem
I was working on (I am primarily a software developer – scientific &
technical areas). However, I wrote the program on my own time and consider
it entirely my property. It's available free for anyone who can stand it.
Just let me know about and problems, comments, etc.
Hope you enjoy it! JKJ
