Ok…well, Betty pointed me to her file that described the bootup
sequence and included the meaning of the colors. It's in LIB 12 as
BOOTCO.LHA and I'd suggest you go get it (it's a very quick download, only
2K long) and read it, it'll explain it much better than I can here in the
message base.
Basically…if the screen is truely yellow, it's saying that the
68000 found an error before the error trapping mechanism (GURU) was in
place. In other words…bad boot code, or flakey RAM where the boot code
is loaded.
