#IPAS Fractilize
Ooops. I forgot to include more info about Fractalize. Thanks for
pointing that out.
The Fractl.gif geometry and textures were produced entirely with Silicon
Garden tools. As the brochure says, it comes with the Terra Materials
Library, which contains over a hundred materials, and dozens of texture
maps, including a number of ground/surface maps, like the one on the
mountain in fractal.gif. By the way, it took me about 2 minutes to produce
the mesh in that image. Fractalize is extremely fast, fun, and easy to use.
(it's the fractalizing program _I've_ always wanted to use) Finally, the
mapping coordinates are layed down by Fractalize when you build the
geometry, so you don't have to worry about mapping them manually.

PS: The spiral in the "sky" is also made with SG's fractal spiral tools,
and the glows and flare are done with the image processing tools from Disk
