Set the planet's pivot point to the centre of the sun using hierarchy/place
pivot. This will allow you to touch the planet then place an "X",
representing the pivot point of the planet, anywhere in 3d space. Or create
a dummy object centered around the sun and do a hierarchy/link of the
planet to the dummy.
