I ran some tests this morning and passed them to Gary. I still can't get
one image to fade to another even if they are both 32-bit. I can get a
32-bit title to overlay over a 24-bit or 32-bit background as long as you
use "real" alpha: pseudo alpha or a bit map doesn't cut it.
The only way I found to fade from one image directly to another is to make
a flic or TGA series that goes from pure black to pure white (or vice
versa), define this as the image alpha on the overlay image, and leave both
images with NO transition. This may have been how you faked it before.
