#Which CD-ROM?

What CD-ROM's are people using out there? I've got an order in for the new
NEC CDR-74 (280ms), but they are back ordered until the 20th of the month.
Anyone know if any of the standard CD-ROMs are going to support the Kodak
PhotoCD format? Supposedly, the NEC CDR-74/84's will be upgradable
(hopefully just software) for that purpose. Any horor stories on drives to
be avoided?
