The way things look right now, I doubt that photo-cd will be available for the Amiga for a while. In fact, my *personal* opinion is that photo-cd will be a complete flop, but that IS just my opinion. PhotoCD isn't "just" a file format. It's a disk format, and most CD drives on the Amiga can't read them – that's right, the _drives_, not the driver software, although THAT can't read them, either. Add to that the development costs and the odds of the format flopping, and I think you have a loser. If Photo-CD takes off, we'll support it. But not until then – the inventor of PhotoCD has made it entirely too difficult to be profitable. –Ben …via AutoPilot
