Hi Mike, I'm not Greg, but I understand the confusion. I left that "Greg?" in case he wanted to comment on whether his converter had a file header or not, the demo version does. >> I have the ASDG driver and renting an Exabyte 8500. << The 8500 is the best way to go. The 8505 is compatible but the site has to have a special driver and alot of places just don't bother to get it. The 8500 is _the_ standard. >> rendering to Targa… << All that sounds good. I haven't tried compressed mode but it should work. You might call ASDG just to make sure. No it won't work with 8200's. If you're interested there's a company in California which sells them very inexpensively called CSC. They're a bulk overstock buyer. $1395 internal and $1495 external for the 8500 new with full warranty. This is not a sale, but you can't always count on whether they have them in stock or not. One of the best investments I ever made. Almost as much fun as a PAR. CSC #408-734-3475 John
