I've been using AutoCad for over nine years now, and I'm a veteran of the AutoCAd Forum, so I'm use to these types of answers from Adesk employees. I was sent over here to get more specific answers from the AutoCad forum, and I really don't want to have to call our regional Adesk people here in Dallas again to get information. You and I both know Adesk has Beta releases of Win/95, so all I'm trying to find out is what has been observered so far. I've been talking to Win/95 Beta users and I'm hearing disturbing reports about it's ability to emulate DOS windows, while on the other hand I'm hearing that Win/NT 3.5 has an excellent dual boot option that sets up a great DOS machine outside the NT environment on the same machine. So, the question is simple and can be answered "officially". If I boot up Win/NT 3.5, using it's dual boot feature, and chose to boot up as a DOS machine will 3DStudio launch and run like these other DOS programs are reportedly doing? I'm NOT talking about runing inside NT, I'm talking about the separate DOS bootup option. This is critical to us since I've heard that Win/95 Beta is not doing as good a job with it's DOS emulation as this dual boot feature in Win/NT right now. I am considering buying a NT upgrade to try this. If this will work we can look at buying Acad 13/NT onstead of AutoCad 13/Win. R.E.
