I just read a bit about Apple and Photo-CD in Byte yesterday. Ver 1.5 of
Quicktime supports Photo-CD on a Mac. This means that any application that
can load a PICT image can load Photo-CD images. Apparently Quicktime does
the dirty-work of loading and translating the image to PICT format.
