Tom, If you mean on the disk, we've got the statutes, and the '80s boom produced some Supreme Court caselaw for the first time since the 1850s. (Which is going to force us to go back to the year zero—real estate cases actually cite 19th century decisions here). If you're asking about buying real estate, the answer is cash will get you anything, very cheaply, but forget a mortgage, the banks are buying savings bonds and paying interest to match. (one _might_ write a 50% mortgage on a piece of property it's foreclosed on.) Frank
