But Kodak has always made much more money from poor and mediocre photographers, than from professionals… 🙂 For these few years when high-rez scanners aren't cheap or common, Photo CD might be very attractive to corporate and graphics design people. They can work with technology they probably already understand. It's compatible with the computer. And Kodak has found another way to sell more film. I dunno, I managed to accumulate a couple shoeboxes of CD-ROMs with megabytes of things I can't find, with few gems, and it didn't take anything new-fangled like Photo CD to cause that to happen. 🙂
