Well, I'll tell you something – Photo-CD quality is so far below professional film capabilities that I can't, for the life of me, imagine a professional photographer giving it the time of day, much less treating it seriously. Further, as it is a technology that tends to empower the end user a great deal more than in the past, I would think that professionals will resist it quite strongly. Not that I think they'll need to – from where I sit, it looks like almost as badly conceived as pen-based computers, with about as large a market – meaning almost none.
