David, Actually, 5 years ago I was primarily looking for a way to cost-effectively do paper books in onesies (the problem is binding–laser printers are wonderful). I'm primarily looking at small market out-of print stuff. Every real person (ie not somebody's couch potato cousin) I've ever talked to about this could think of half a dozen books in their field of interest that would sell 500 copies immediately and 5 copies per month forever. CDROM would be more of a problem because of the higher cost–I'd need to have several works that a customer wanted, and they'd need to be willing to read it on line. I wouldn't try that yet, but if I was still a bachelor with a day job, I'd likely be starting something with paper. Frank
