Cindy, I think you're being overly harsh on Commodore. The company is far from perfect, but they've been improving noticeably over the past year. Their engineering division ranks with the best anywhere, and their marketing arm, while still weaker than most of us would like, looks to be gaining some strength. At any rate, I bought my Amigas (three of 'em so far, with a fourth to come in a couple weeks) mostly because of what the hardware and software were, and are, capable of. It's certainly important, though, to keep in mind what sort of company is making the machine you're considering spending your money on…so I think you need to take a little more time, and listen to more folks' opinions (some of which are bound to be at least as pointed as yours <g>), before you come down so hard on CBM. -Dave (via AutoPilot)
