I have been using it for a couple of months. It has a very nice programming language, well designed for mathematical programming. The language is general purpose, but only runs (of course) in the Maple environment. Maple certainly knows more math than I ever will. It still has some weaknesses in the Amiga environment. You cannot make hi-res interlaced the default plot enviroment (you have to use the mouse a select a menu option after the plot has finished, and wait for it to redraw in hi-res). It's console support is not up to WSHell standards, but you can drive it from the CLI, and make up for that. I am glad that I got it, and will be using it extensively as a self-education tool.
