Wayne, Here's a few more to stew on: – Not releasing 3.0 for all Amigas and thereby crippling the new features (like datatypes) from getting significant developer support – Foisting 2.1 off on users instead of 3.0 – Dumping the Speech from 2.1/3.0 – Still no VM – Still no GFX retargetability – Still no inter-task protection =================================== Having said that, there's the HUGE positive side of current CBM affairs: + Ads in mags other than the AW class (not so much preaching to the converted) CD-ROM "thing" for a500 (finally) released + AGA/24-bit gfx technology released + a600 & a600hd released + a4000 released + a1200 announced, hopefully released early Dec as they say (bet it is) + Glastnost re future technical plans, finally! + Gold Service, reprised ================================ At least it's a toss-up now.
