Call sales at 1-800-829-8608. (314-894-8608 outside the US and Canada.) You
must send in the program disk, $75 plus $5 shipping ($15 outside of the US
and Canada), and a note explaining the transfer. The disk mailed in must
show the registration number. But call first to ensure that your friend did
not upgrade to 2.x from his 1.x version. If he did, then the registration
still belongs to him and the 1.x copy cannot be upgraded. (You can't sell
off an old version of a program when you upgrade to a new version.) If he
sold you the whole thing and didn't upgrade, then there is no problem
transferring ownership.
