I had the same problem on my CDR-74 weeks ago and talked to a bunch of
people before I got some answers. Your drive is setup correctly and should
be able to read the sample photos included with the software (as well as any
other single session photo disk).
The "out of memory" error is a totally bogus message caused because currently
the CDR-74 is not reading the Kodak disk correctly. The Access software is
stored on the CD in a different format than normal and any drive not 100%
cannot run the setup program.
I personally have the NEC SCSI and Trantor drivers and was told it would be
a while (late 1992) before the problem was fixed. Until my drivers are
updated I get the same "out of memory" when I try the setup program. Kodak
would only say that CDR-74 was not totally compatible as of yet.
As you are using Corel SCSI drivers I don't know what your current driver
status is. I was told by NEC that they were going to setup some kind of
firmware upgrade path to also make the CDR-74 multi-session compatible.
