Help! New adapt.No CDROM
I have just added an Adpatec 1542 to my system, and in the process, have
removed my Future Domain 845 card controlling my external Toshiba 3301
CD-ROM. Now I cannot access the CD-ROM from DOS. I guess I need some sort
of driver for this ? I see in the Adaptec box a card saying "ASW-410 CD
Rom support for DOS" – this is presumably a requirement to access the drive
?
Since Adaptec are on Thanksgiving holiday even on Friday, can some kind
soul E-mail me the required files until I can get Adaptec to send them to
me (since I can't see them on Adaptec's BBS).
I have some stuff on a CD that I need access to quite badly and I can't
wait !
