Suresh, Well, all I can say is that my experience is opposite yours. Every machine I have ever used with Windows, with the exception of the 486 DX2 I talked about, has seemed "slow", even compared to a 68000, 7.14 MHz Amiga. I currently have and use both an A500 and an A2000 with a 28 MHz 68030 and 5 meg of RAM. While the Chip ram may be slow, because it is accessible to the Amiga's custom chips, it is "faster" for display purposes. While I admit Amiga has fell behind in resolution to PC's, I don't think having an 800*600*24bit gui is necessary or useful. I would be interested in other's oppinion on which has the "snappier" GUI, Amiga or Windows?
