Mark, I agree…Word Perfect is a pile of junk in my opinion. I'm force to use it at work, it's been adopted as the "standard" only because it's available on all the platforms we use. I hate it. As a matter of fact, I'm going to get in a big fight Monday over what word processor I'm going to be allowed to buy for the laptop I'm getting. Right now, I've got to get Word Perfect…and since I work for the agency that is supposed to enforce the standards…it wouldn't look too good if we bought some other word processor. However, since a laptop is truely a personal computer…no one else is going to use it but me, and since the word processor I'm considering (AmiPro 3.0 from Lotus) is so much better…I think I can convince them to let be dump Word Perfect.
