Hi Roy, nice club to be in <grin>. Better answer your messages one at a time, or I'll forget what you said. First of all, your welcome for the driver! That MP tray takes some getting used to! In my playing with it on the weekend, I have a fairly good idea how I want to use it. The two ways I will use it are MP TRAY = FIRST and MP TRAY = CASS. Now, are you using PS or PCL? If using PS (from PageStream) will it tell the printer it is doing a specific sized print job, i.e. Letter, Legal, B5, Com10, etc? IF so, then put the envelopes into the MP tray, set MP TRAY = CASS, and use the Paper Size button on the fron tpanel to set the MP Tray paper size to the proper value (took me a long time to figure out this last step!!!). So if PageStream when doing a PS print job requests Com10 envelopes, and you have such in the MP Tray, it should automatically pull them from the tray. It sounds like PgStream doesn't do this, so use the MP TRAY = FIRST setting (not sure if you have to, or even can, set the paper size with the Paper Size button in this case – to be on the safe side, set the MP Tray paper size to the same as the PC – letter). If there is paper in the tray, the printer will pull it from the MP Tray before going to the PC. You have to do it this way for PCL5 (my driver), too. Also, if you orientate the envelopes the same way as shown in the MP Tray, you will get a smudged return address. Turn the envelope around 180 degrees and make the appropriate change in PgStream. The wrinkles are much reduced compared to what my IIIP did, but one of the corners at the bottom of the envelope gets a bit distorted/wrinkled. Maybe a different envelope will not do this. More experiments… Oh, don't practise on envelopes, could get expensive. Cut up some paper the same size as the envelopes. 73, Kelly
