I did that, works great. I have three dongles on my LPT1 that I put inside by
unscrewing the hex nuts that held the DB25 to the case of my Dell XPS90. Since
the DB25 was connected to the motherboard with a ribbon cable I set the dongles
in an empty drive bay. I haven't made a cable to jump back out of the case to
use a printer, but it wouldn't be a problem.
