Don, >> remedy is a lesson from my old ham radio days… << What impressed me most was the way you zoomed in on the cause. It certainly seems very plausible. The thing about the remedy that may do the trick is if the radio frequencies are using the cable as an antennae. But if the computer cases are acting in that manner or something else is acting like an antennae, like power cords or …. who knows, stopping the problem with be really tricky. Its a unique approach to use a T-junction and add a "foot" off the line. What we would do is just use alot more cable and loop it. The problem with that of course is you get a lot more signal loss, than what your suggestion would seem to provide. I know extra coiled coax is a common solution as are the Humbuckers, but I've always found these remedies wanting somewhat as a variety of things can affect ground loops and they ebb and flow to a degree. I don't see a quick fix in the works, and I've got to finish this project by tomorrow so I'll have to let it slide until the weekend. Fortuneatly its not having any effect on the monitors or anything, but it is kind of peculiar. So its not Rush's political viewpoint that impresses you, its his background. I find Rush mostly interesting because he causes such a fuss with the media. But I can't get started on politics cause I'll end up writing pages and pages.
