"the 3 words that I thought stuck out were 4 MILLION DOLLARS." Ah, come on – it's a lot to you or me personally, maybe, but consider the figures: 3 million Amigas worldwide at present, you port maybe a half dozen top line packages, how many Amigas would you get? If you doubled the number – 6 million – you would have to be making the princely sum of 8 bucks a machine to cover the porting costs, based on 4 mill. a port. This is before you start counting sales of peripherals, etc. and the fact that Commodore would be in a considerably better bargaining position in the later ports due to it's existing stable of top line software. Am I being too optimistic? I don't know, it just seems to me that if you're serious, Commodore, you get serious. Otherwise drop all this high powered machine crap and content yourself to slugging it out with Sega and Nintendo.
