WP used to have a list price of $299. I've seen ProWrite at computer shows for $30. I don't remember all of the features of Final Copy, but I believe it doesn't support macros. That is one of the best features of WP; its macro recorder and editor. Start the macro; name it; perform your keystrokes, commands, menu selections, and mouse clicks; stop the macro, and you're all set. Now you can perform virtually any complex series of commands with a simple macro, by pressing a key or two. Automatic Table of Contents and Index generation; Two Headers and Footers per page; Footnotes AND Endnotes; Speller and Thesaurus; Outlining, Redlining, and Overstrike functions; Math and Columns support; Mail Merge; excellent Editing, Searching, and Formatting features; Original and user-definable Timed backups; plus more, are just some of the features, power, and flexibility in Amiga WordPerfect. Other Amiga word processors have some of these features, but I'm not familiar with any other Amiga word processor that has them all.
