Ok, item by item: Imagemaster will (a) color correct, (b) gamma correct, (c) crop, (d) resize *excellently*, (e) do all of these very, very quickly on platforms comparable to the Mac you're using. Imagemaster will also de-tint for you automatically (remove yellow from aged color images in one step, for instance); it'll antique images just as fast, too. It has hue adjust, saturation adjust, anti-aliasing, several truly excellent linear filtering systems for noise removal, specific unique artifact removal operations, the ability to set an image's dymanic range to that indicated by any user-specifed region or the entire image, which is a wonderful way to enhance with no damage for many types of detail-intensive image sources. And it's got just about any other type of adjustment that you might want to do to an image to restore it to as close as possible to its orignal condition, too. Furthermore, if it's missing some operation you need in that area, you only have to tell us – we add things like that all the time. I don't think you've givin us a fair shot at this, frankly – and as I mentioned earlier, other ex-PhotoShop users have come to the conclusion that Imagemaster is far more powerful – and not just for operations that distort images; In fact, Imagemaster has far more NON-distorting operations than it has distorting – something that should catch your attention in a program with many hundreds of specific operations, far more than anything else out there – including, most especially, PhotoShop. :^) –Ben …via AutoPilot
