I still have an old booklet from the Atomic Energy Commission about the REAL old mainframes complete with core memory. I first got computer fever when I read Popular Electronics' Altair Computer "Do It Yourself" article. I can't believe how much I would have loved to have an old teletype as I/O! I'm disgustingly spoiled these days (and look forward to getting more and more spoiled in the future <g>)!
