You gotta admit though that the SGI + Nintendo deal is not going to
produce a machine that many outside of the United States would be
able to afford. Such a VR system described by Nintendo has got to
come in at the $700 range I would think. CD32 is a very inexpensive
platform and probably would have a wider appeal in Europe–a market
that Nintendo would like to get in. However, let me agree with you
on what point. There is no evidence whatsoever that this happened.
In fact, the more I think about it the less likely it seems to me as
well. Makes for good rumormongering though!
