"I am using a Golden Gate 386 board (since yesterday). It's in a
A3000 with 6 mb memory running WB 2.04. Everything seems to work as
described, except one thing. I can't get it to use Amiga memory as
Extended Memory. Does anybody know about this?"
Michael: I had the same problem with my 4000 and the Golden Gate.
It's looking for 16-bit expansion ram, and we have 32-bit RAM
standard in our Amiga's. So the only way to use the Amiga's memory as
extended Memory is to buy a 16-bit RAM board, or use Chip memory. I
do have some 16-bit RAM on a 2091 board, but I would get GPI crashes
when running Windows, so I don't use it. About the best way to expand
the memory of the Golden Gate is just to buy some more SIMM's.
